The annual crackdown on drink driving, with a new focus on drug driving, has been kicked off by two police forces. Staffordshire police have decided to use shock tactics and have recently released video footage of a drink driver called Harrison King, who was lucky to escape death. He suffered major injuries after he crashed his car into a house with railings around it – one of the railings came through his windscreen and badly wounded his head, meaning he needed to be put into an induced coma to recover.
