As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting good causes, myWindscreen is proud to be sponsoring a night of amateur boxing at The Lighthouse Venue, 12 Coronet Way, Salford M50 1RE on Saturday 29th February 2020. The doors will open at 5:30 pm, and the boxing will commence at 7 pm.

The event has been organised in support of Eccles Boxing School, a popular local boxing gym. The gym’s head coach is Brian Gardner, and he welcomes attendees of all ages and abilities, from children to adults.

Brian takes great pride in helping the gym’s clients to develop a variety of skills which not only aid fitness and sustainable weight loss, but provide an effective form of self-defence too. The discipline inherent in boxing is particularly beneficial for children – it develops an endurable ethos of hard work, and can play a major role in their growth into healthy adults.

Among the many members of the gym are people who simply want to get fit, others who box at an amateur level, and professional boxers. In fact, the founder of myWindscreen has four sons aged from 8 to 18 who attend the gym, and one of them (14-year old Adam), will actually be boxing at the event.

Ticket prices

Tickets cost £15 for adults, and £10 for under 10-year olds, so whether you just enjoy watching boxing, are thinking of taking it up, or already take part, come along; it will be an enjoyable evening.
